The Gin Palace Roof

I was at Ingliston today photographing the setting-up of the Gardening Scotland event that is on for the next three days.

The weather was pretty rubbish so I didn't get the chance to do much of the outside stuff.
When the rain came on I started by taking shelter under the canopy of the 'stall' being set up by The Secret Garden to publicise their gin connection.
I was rather taken with the sweeping curves.
Unfortunately there was no gin available until tomorrow when the public arrive.

One person I was pleased to meet again was the blacksmith (and a couple of his workers) who makes the most incredible life sized cows and - in this case - horses. This one, called Robbie after Robert Burns, has items hidden inside that are related, like a mouse and a book & pen …. but you have to look really hard through the gaps to see any of them.

If you go to the link there are another 10 shots covering some of the displays.
