Pinkery Pond

On the Devon/Somerset borders, high up on Exmoor is a small reservoir at the head of the river Barle. This was the destination for the summer walk for the camera club this afternoon. It was a moorland walk of roughly 3 miles. We heard cuckoos, but didn't see them, skylarks, and meadow pipits. On the way back we saw a hobby skimming over the hedges, and deer in the valleys. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, evening :-)
