Merry Christmas

Apart from Mike deciding that 6.45 was an acceptable time to wake up at on Christmas day, we had a great day. Arran and family arrived late morning for a chat before lunch - which had our dining table groaning under all the dishes!

After a fabulous lunch, we needed the exercise, so enjoyed a walk round the block between main course and Christmas pudding (made by Shirley - Arran's Mum - and the first she had ever made) which was as light as a Christmas pud could be, with clotted cream, brandy butter, brandy sauce and creme anglais!

Didn't move too far after all that!
