On the A701
After a night with very little sleep on the overrnight ferry back to Aberdeen we took the scenic route back to the Lakes. I've noticed this abandoned bridge before. Today I stopped and went for a walk
Postscript- internet research reveals this was a private railway line built to enable the construction of the Talla Reservoir ie it ferried people and materials back and forth from Broughton to the reservoir site. And the bridge I have captured was an overhead sheep crossing!! If you want to read more click here
