Wild cranberry

I went for a walk to Burton mill pond with HNHS today which was great fun.
One of the highlights was this Wild cranberry Vaccinium oxycoccos, growing over some large clumps of moss in a boggy area. Wild cranberry is really not common at all in West Sussex, so it was a really nice find. We also saw a Cream-spot tiger moth Arctia villica, which was another unusual sight (see out of focus extra 1), and much to my delight the Golden-bloomed grey longhorn beetle Agapanthia villosviridescens, one of my all time fave beetles (see extra 2)
