Bloodroot Leaf

I have, commented in the past about the wildflower, bloodroot. This small Lily-like plant is spreading throughout my gardens. And, I just love it. They bloom early in the spring, and a field of tiny Lily- like flowers is welcome to the winter-weary eye.
If you remember, I mentioned that the leaf clasps around the stem until the sun comes out; this Photo I find interesting in the “what is it?” Department. It is the leaf edge of a bloodroot Preparing for next spring blooming.
