Christmas in The Canary Islands

Yes, it is December 24th - Christmas Eve and we were taking a stroll along Las Canteras - the beach in Las Palmas on Gran Canaria. The temperature was 25 deg Celsius. What a nice warm Christmas eve. We ate at a local fishermens bar - gambas con ajillo (garlic prawns) and Sama - a fish caught in these very waters. Washed down with a glass of Viñosol and a nice cold Tropical beer.
