...on the other side of the fence. 

In this case I think that's true!

For a couple of days I've been aware of an unpleasant whiff that was getting worse in the kitchen (and was able to eliminate the bin), so today some drastic action was required. 

After much crawling about, I eventually managed to locate the source of the pong: a decomposing rodent underneath one of the kitchen units!!! *shudder* You-Know-Who must have brought it in, injured, one night and the poor little creature has crawled there to escape. 

Air freshener and a scented candle have hopefully done the trick...
