The End is Nigh!

Rain stopped play yesterday but work started again bright and early this morning...only a few more gabions to install! We’re going to cut back the trees and shrubs at the bottom of the banking and replant something colourful before we start on the actual garden...it could take a long while yet!!

In other news hubby uncovered a nest of about 15 pheasant eggs this morning but he thinks the mother was possibly killed at the weekend by a fox..nature is hard sometimes!
