On the way up Helvelyn

Back blip. We had an eventful walk up Helvelyn today to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. In the photo, the weather looks lovely, however, 30 Minutes later we were being pelted by rain blowing horizontally! I don’t think I’ve ever been as wet.

Anyway, we survived and had a lovely pub meal before heading to Ambleside for the night. No WiFi.
