River Spey

An okayish drive up to Grantown - the A9 was never going to be much fun on the Saturday of a Bank Holiday.  Stopped at the House of Burar for a bite then arrived at campsite made afternoon.   After a snooze headed out for a walk through the woods and along the Spey.   Saw dippers, a common tern and watched this grey wagtail for ages gathering inserts as the rain came on.

Dinner at the Merchants on the High Street was a wonderful experience- if you are ever offered their vegetarian green Thai curry with water melon take a chance - it was terrific.
