Across the bay

Looking towards Fremont, or perhaps Newark. It's strange how the buildings over there look as if they are right on the edge of the water - they are not, there are more marshes, mudbanks and sloughs on that side too, plus salt ponds and a nature reserve.  (I've even windsurfed across from here - Palo Alto - in the past, and landed on a green grassy mudbank over there).  I guess all that is below the horizon, creating this illusion.
