Tuesdays With...

One of those teaching moments today with my 4th period seniors. We are reading Tuesdays With Morrie on our way out of here. I simply gave them this list of Big Picture life topics (Death, Fear, Aging, Greed, Marriage, Family, Society, Forgiveness, and A Meaningful Life). I asked them to discuss them in a small group before telling the whole group their thoughts. What ensued was one of great class discussions this year. I tried to stay out of the way, let them roll with it. They did, beautifully, and we only got through half of the list. Tomorrow, the second half.
