Sunshine & showers....

I watched this downpour from inside the car ...knowing the washing was still out and getting a good soaking. Never mind....!

This morning was full on getting bedrooms ready for tomorrow’s visitors. Not sure how the sleeping arrangements will pan out with Esmée so I’ve prepared two rooms. Changed to summer duvets too so heavier tog ones had to go into the loft. Lots of up and down the loft ladder has made up for no Pilates due to half-term holidays.

Kathy was her usual cheerful self when I visited this afternoon. We chatted away for two hours, and she ate a chicken roast dinner and apple crumble while I was there. She’s brilliant!
