Roaches and Hen Cloud View
A very soggy end to the Bank Holiday weekend! We only went for a morning's walk but experienced several showers throughout.
We headed out just beyond Leek and parked at Tittesworth Reservoir. We would usually walk around the reservoir but had planned a different route this time. We set off for a spot called Gun Moor, which is at the height of 385m (1263ft) at the trig point found there.
The surrounding views are impressive. The Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshore Rocks in one direction, Bosley Cloud in the opposite and even Shuttlingsloe - the Matterhorn of the Peak!
A great little walk, where we saw hardly anyone else, and got a different perspective of this area we visit so often.
