St Giles Cathedral.
Kat had an appointment in town so Clickychick and I had plenty of time to wander. St Giles is always a draw, the skill and workmanship in the impressive building always leaves me awestruck. We then made our way to Bruntsfield where Kat did some shopping followed by lunch at the Seeds for the Soul a vegan café. A good choice as being vegan it means Kat can guarantee there is no dairy in the food.
A pleasant walk along the canal followed. Then in the evening we drove to the Water of Leith visitors centre (Yes we knew it would be closed) and had a wander through the woods and we found a seat. A great place to sit enjoy the evening and talk, without the distractions of technology.
The blip is part of the fan vaulting in the cathedral roof.
