Greedy grebe

I was marking 1st year exams in Grimsby today and so late this afternoon I decided to go for a walk at our local nature reserve.

Took a few shots of a marsh harrier and watched some blue tits madly feeding their young. Also got some lovely shots of a magpie. A shot or two in the running for a blip I got up to go when this grebe and it’s pal came close to the hide. I sat myself back down and rattled off a number of shots and then it caught a pike so had to watch and photograph it having a tussle and then eating the big fish.
