PLEASE Don't Derail

The CSX [former New York Central waterlevel route for you railfans] mainline between Boston and New York City and Chicago passes thru Rochester. It is a busy line with 8 passenger and some 50 freights a day, however, as seen, the rails are not up to European standards. There have been at least 3 derailments lately one resulting in a BLEVE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BLEVE
that was heard for miles around.
