Farewell....

There were a lot of speeches and good words for Mrs B today when she retired after 40 years in office at the University hospital in Oslo. Her first professor now retired, absent from the gathering due to illness, had sent her 40 lovely roses and a written speech which was announced by a colleague. Even I had my speech. I think she was a bit overwhelmed by all the good words she got. The trunk of my car was filled up with flowers and bottles when I drove her home. Blip shows Mrs B thanking all for the years she had been with them.  Out tonight just the two of us calming down by a good dinner.
