Thermal Flyer

We when we walk the dogs every morning, we can always tell when a hawk is nearby because the crows screech up a storm. EXTRA:  They are fearless, dive-bombing right over them to distract them from the trees where they nest and to chase them away.  It's also important to look down. Luckily, I spotted this gopher snake sunning himself on the sidewalk only about eight feet in front of us. You really have to watch out this time of year in California.
