Misdirection

Megan arrives at lunchtime, whisked in from Carluke by Claire. She makes one of her signature salads. Lovely.

Megan and I try out tents, walk through the woodland in the rain, check out bothy and hut.

Early evening we head into town to watch Woman at War. It’s a good film, with a wonderful, stylised use of the musicians providing the soundtrack.

Hamish is waiting in the Filmhouse bar. We eat quickly at Waggamamma and head home - Claire and Hamish to Kinghorn, Megan and I to Planet Acme.
