2019 Monday — Memorial Day

At the end of this day we had gone out for a bite to eat— our choice was to either grocery shop or head for a restaurant— as we left Marie Callender’s famous diner, I told Mr. Fun I want to drive a couple blocks out of our way to stop in the college parking lot.

It was there that we could look south to Corona and see the beauty of the foothills. I’m sorry there are no flags in this photo. I truly do honor this holiday and all the military have done for our nation. I hate war, but who doesn’t? I am, though, so glad we once again have a strong military.
