Our family plus my daughter's future in-laws chose to spend the day making Christmas for about 70 folk who would otherwise have been alone. This is Laura lighting the candles before everyone arrived. We even had a homeless guy, who'd been hanging round the church, join us.

And so we missed church, where our minister apparently spoke on the line from Boney M's song - as title above.

It went very well, and I was so impressed with Sam - most lads his age wouldn't do a Christmas dinner, let alone for 70 people - and it was all delicious. Potatoes super crunchy - done in the fat from the goose we ate Saturday.

Everyone got a gift, and last of all, we all watched the Queen's speech together - thought she was excellent. We then cleared up and came home for a nap (turkeys went in at 6:30am), and now off out to friends for more fun.
