Water Droplets

After a nice sleep, and waking up at a civilised time, I have a nice breakfast in the hotel, and pack my things (and bike). I then go for a walk along the river to the hydro dam before heading along Armoury Road, which passes the Old Armoury (Extra), and in to town to get lunch. On the way back to the hotel, I take the back route along Bruach Lane. On a bush, water droplets are shining in the dull light.

After checking out, I head for coffee, then down to the station to get the train back to Edinburgh. The train is packed, so I decide to have my lunch when I get home, which doesn't take long. While i have a reservation, it's useless as the printer at Inverness wasn't working. It is also packed. Unlike most of the trains between Inverness and Edinburgh that I have been on recently, which have had 4 or 5 carriages, this one only has three.

While it's good to be away, it's good to get home. In the afternoon, my partner (who has the whole week off work) and I go down to Morningside.
