Faithfulness and friendship

The Inverness coat of arms In the west gable of the (fairly) recently spring-cleaned Town House, which is looking magnificent. I think this particular one may have come from the old bridge that was lost a couple of hundred years ago. Plenty theories over the years why it should sport a dromedary and an elephant, but all ideas are welcome
