I managed to stay dry at lunchtime despite the sky when out with PD, but I was left with my head in a spin when we met a couple in the woods out walking their CAT!
PD wasn't in the slightest bit interested but the cat was somewhat nervous - after all, PD is a particularly large Labrador.

The Cygnet asked what we were having for tea and was told it was pasta and meatballs in a white sauce. He was delighted and asked if he could make the rue for the white sauce. That came as a surprise. So did the fact that he actually did know how to make it … and did make the sauce.
