baby chaffinch

Just saw this beautiful baby chaffinch by chance when I was taking a picture of something else. I think it's a male - he sat there so sweetly whilst I got a few pictures before mum came back to feed him. Lots done in the garden again - Mr I has almost finished the raised bed and I've planted out all the little plants I've grown (beetroot, sprouts, purple broccoli, French beans, and a few sweetcorn plants). Lovely to see the great spotted woodpecker and the jay visit the bird feeding station.
