The goldcrest was a near casualty this morning when it hit a window and landed on the windowsill, hubby relocated it to the bird table and it eventually left under its own steam...I hope it survived! We think it was probably a fledgling but they’re so small it was difficult to tell...it’s the first we’ve had in the garden.

The theme for Mono Monday is Shadows...not a lot of them around as it’s rather overcast but I did catch the goldcrest on the bird table in the sunshine (extra). Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting.
