Wet Walk

Seven of us met at the lake, and because it was just spitting with rain, decided to go for a walk.  We parked at Bremner Bay and walked from there towards The Outlet.  We had just set out, and down came the rain.  After walking for about 5 k's, we decided to turn back and have our lunch in a sheltered area.  None to be found.  When we arrived back at the cars, we all wanted to go home, because we were all very wet indeed.  While on the track we were joined by an American traveler, who thought the walk was marvelous, and was so pleased to meet us all.  14,000 steps, or 10 k's.

Home for lunch, and it is still raining, bucketing down in fact.  The fire is going, so the lounge is nice and warm.  The forecast is for showery weather.  There was no wind, and not too cold, +11C.
