Celebration time, come on!

D’s niece Lucy, his late brother’s daughter, celebrated her 50th birthday today and she and Dennis celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary today too.  My niece too and I am proud to be her auntie! She has had some tough times to go through, losing her brother at the age of 11 and her father 13 years ago. He mum is Jill who I mentioned we visited in hospital last Saturday. Lucy will be facing some big treatment decisions soon. We will love and support her throughout. 

We were invited to the party and although we didn’t know anyone else there, we enjoyed watching them with Den’s family, and their friends.

Two very good journeys there and back and both taking less than the predicted time.
