New and Old

The daisies and grasses are shooting up now, there is almost a noticeable difference each day.  The birds nest amongst the plants - there are stonechats and skylarks that we have seen flitting in the undergrowth.  Last year's teasels stand high and starkly against the fresh green vegetation of Spring.  We had a look to see if we could see new teasels growing but we couldn't see any - no doubt they will appear in time.

This morning after our dog walk we popped up to Stansted House to visit the farm shop and garden centre.  This afternoon we've relaxed, walked the dog and I have popped to the allotment to do a quick bit of watering.  Tonight we think we may watch the film Isle of Dogs.

Hoping you have all had a good day.
