Up for a charity bike ride on to the Yorkshire Wolds. 30 kms with some steep climbs including the ‘Birdsall Beast’! We started just as a heavy shower passed overhead. It was also quite blustery so I think I deserve to put my feet up this evening.

Enjoyed meeting up with friends and some ex pupils.

There are some big estates on the Wolds and this gated driveway to Birdsall Estate caught my eye. A quick pit stop with my phone and then back on the bike.

I must admit to enjoying my bacon butty at the end of the rise plus a welcome cuppa.
