The first cornflower

I brought home a cold from the Lake District and was pretty groggy on Thursday and Friday. Yet, yesterday I managed to go for at least a short walk. Very much to my delight I enjoyed the lush green after the recent rain. Amongst it was this cornflower, the first I have seen this year.
