The Last of the Daffodils

Dear Diary,

I planted some late blooming daffs in the fall and I was able to gather a few along with some violets and grape hyacinth to make a couple of little arrangements.  I "posed" them on the lovely Celtic knot hot plate I got as a gift for my birthday in Doolin.  I received many nice gifts, including these two bowls (extra) which were made using the clay gathered in the Doolin Caves.  Very special.

Yesterday was a perfectly beautiful one and I spent a lot of time resting on the porch.  Heavenly.  My cough is better this morning I'm happy to say.
