But, then again . . . . .

New Kid on the Block.

I bagged this blip by climbing on a stool and peering over a seven foot fence, hence the camera angle. I don't think anybody saw me.

The Old Lady's next-door-neighbours seem to be gnome fetishists, we have counted 23 of them before now, including all the other assorted creatures, in their modest back garden - today there are just 15; presumably they are intended to keep Shandy company - there is an ominous bulge in the flower-bed and his memorial plaque can be read if you look at the blip in "big".
Periodically one or two of the critters will disappear indoors for a while to be repainted but Santa's-Little-Helper is a new arrival; I resisted the temptation to climb over the fence and remove him to the nearest bus stop.

Merry Christmas every one.

Post script: my regular readers (rose-tinted glasses are being worn at this moment) may be interested to know that I have put an addendum about the thatched cottage of two days ago.
Of course, this could just be a sneaky way of increasing my statistics.
