Fixed!

Bad luck with cameras in the last year - I got my first DSLR to take on the Arctic trip however moisture got in on a wet day in Greenland (even though I was very careful) and it was going to cost more to repair than it did to buy??!!

My other Canon G15 is a great little thing but the screen had a sort or creeping blackness and over time it was getting impossible to see any pics. It reminded me of the old days when you’d take photos but didn’t know how they’d turn out until you got the film processed. Fortunately much easier now as I just had to wait until uploaded to the Mac.

G sent off for a replacement screen which arrived today and as I visited family in Falkirk, he fixed it. Delighted! And all for the grand total of £6.50 on eBay, all the way from Hong Kong complete with tiny screwdrivers.
