Damp squib

Through to Glasgow to watch the Warriors host Leinster in the Pro14 Cup Final. The class of the Dubliners shone through the drizzly curtain of rain that was draped across Celtic Park for the duration of the match. Despite a reckless match-ending tackle on Stuart Hogg by Kearney, they still ground out the win, beating Glasgow by 18 points to 15.

Returning to my transport after the game, I had an interesting walk through the warzone otherwise known as the Trongate. The streets were covered in broken Buckfast bottles, Celtic flags and debris with an enormous crowd of happy football fans chanting in the street and from every bar after their victory over Hearts a few hours earlier. The polis were out in force.
