Driftwood!

A glorious morning at Aberdeen beach with a wonderful gentle light and an incredible number of sea birds. Aberdeen has a beautiful esplanade ~2miles long and those who follow my blip know it to a main source of inspiration.

The beach was littered with debris a consequence of the recent storm some large pieces of driftwood such as this interestingly place piece were dotted along the length of the beach from footdee to bridge of Don I hasten to add that this was not the largest piece. I liked it as it looked as though it had been gentle placed in this position.

Pia Andersson's poem about Driftwood seemed apt for Christmas morn.

Each wave,
draws me closer.
Like driftwood,
in search of its shore.

Entwined destinies.

Each wave,
guides me,
into your arms.
You are my shore.

With you I belong.

Merry Christmas everyone.
