Great to have my younger sister and brother-in-law here for a break en route to the west. Their day began on Portobello beach and ended by the sands of Morar.

Later, as the drizzle set in here, we began to empty our study/tv/log buner room in preparation for new carpets arriving at the end of next week.

Parking restrictions now in place for tomorrow’s Edinburgh Marathon.
