Good news in the form of an email today.

I had applied for the EFIAP distinction, which recognises success in international photographic salons with the patronage of FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique). 

Today I heard that my application had been successful.

The requirements for EFIAP are 250 acceptances into international salons, from at least 50 different images (12 of which have to have been accepted as prints), in at least 30 different salons from 20 different countries, at least 2 of which must have received an award.
