The Mill at Dunham Massey.

We broke our journey home from holiday by visiting the National Trust property at Dunham Massey, a lovely place to visit and get lunch.  This water powered sawmill is 400 years old and still works... the power is delivered by a overshot wheel giving three horse power.

The journey home was eventful, there had been a terrible accident involving a motorcycle and car that had the North-bound carriageway closed for hours, restrictions on the South-bound side delayed us for about half an hour.

By the look of it some family is now dealing with tragedy...
