A rainy start....

....to our Memorial Day Weekend. There have been periods of heavy rain as well as drizzle, and my tree blossoms have been falling all morning. :(( My flags are out in the areas where they're protected from the rain, and the rest will go out when the rain stops. There's rain forecast for Monday too, but I'm hoping it passes us by, or at least holds off until after the Memorial Day parade--held downtown on every Memorial Day for 154 years--honoring the men and women who have died in service to our Country, & one parade I don't like to miss. 
Tom's sister is flying back from South Carolina this evening, so I'm picking her up at the airport later tonight. Her car's been "stored" at our house while she's been gone this past month, so she'll pick it up then drive to their older sisters' to spend the night there. Tomorrow, both Tom's sisters are coming back here & we're all going out to lunch so we can visit for awhile before his younger sister heads back home--about a three hour drive from here. It'll be great to catch up with them both. :))
