Prickly Pear enjoying the sun

We've seen lots of these cactus growing around Austin so as the sun was shining so brightly on this plant today I decided it had to be my Blip. A fun day today trying out the electric scooters which seem to be all the rage around here. Although a bit of a nuisance as you can leave them anywhere and pick them up where you find them - not everyone is very considerate about where they abandon them ie we've seen several left laying  across the pavement. Still good fun and a quick, if not a bit hair raising, way to get from A to B.
Went to see some live music tonight which was very good.
