Traffic

Heading up to visit May today, I forgot that it was the Friday before a three-day weekend.  The freeway was packed heading north, and what is usually a 20-25 minute trip took more than an hour.  I had decided to try the trip without using GPS, and got almost all the way to her house before making a wrong turn.  I think I'll stick with the GPS for a while longer.

I stopped at Trader Joe's on the way home, and saw these pretty carnations.  I haven't seen any in a long time, and I love them.  Hope you do too.
