Butterflies

Last commute of a five day week is cool and breezy with a little light rain to signify the end of a warm spell of weather. Just in time for the weekend away to Pitlochry. I am hoping the weather will be fine on Sunday for the Etape Caledonia.

A nice walk at lunchtime, no rain. In the hazy sunshine, two butterflies fly over the path and land on a leaf. Usually they fly away when I get near them, but this time I manage to snap them as they, for a change, stay where they land.

the ride home starts off ok, a bit of sun. Cooler as I get near home and the clouds roll in. The tops of the Pentland Hills are scraping the clouds. The temperature has dropped though. At least I get home dry. The rain starts an hour later.
