Starling

2 birds in 2 days for me... which is highly unusual! Anyway, we had a quick trip to Canvey today for a bite to eat in the cafe and a walk along the sea front. We saw this young starling on the sea wall eating bugs as it walked along. I took a load of photos and got a bit closer... and closer... and closer. It didn't appear to mind at all! We thought it might have been injured but it seemed quite happy just hoping along and pecking away with me a coupe of yards away at times. The innocence of youth....
