Red and green

Laurie and Liza and I went for a walk/scoot after sundown, thinking we'd go up to Peacock Lane to gawk at Christmas lights. I haven't been on the scooter at night much and realized that I need a headlight! The neighborhood streets are dark and I can't see bumps and potholes. So we only went a few blocks and then headed back to Hawthorne.

I blipped the Bagdad in daylight a while back (there's some interesting history about it there) and have wanted to get a night shot of it, so here it is. I thought the red and green theme was appropriate, and the star moon in the east.
