Cupido Minimus

I've been away from blip for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately my mother passed away and I've been looking after my father and arranging the funeral. I'm back home for a couple of days before returning to Oxfordshire. It was great to be out on the South Downs with the spaniel and seeing 14 species of butterfly (before 10 am) including the Small Blue, Britain's smallest butterfly. This one is a female, I watched her laying eggs for several minutes.
