Forwarder
The Harvester has moved on and now the Forwarder - basically a motorised trailer with a crane - is sorting things out into the various categories.
As there was no proper harvesting, I doubt there will be any long wood of 10 metres or more. Some will be 5m, bit more 4m and a lot will be so-called "paper wood" of 2m and small, upward of 10cm diameter.
As here, a lot will be "rubbish" - broken, short, non-spruce and lots of the tops of trees under 10cm diameter. This is what the forwarder seems to be loading now. These piles will be put on the side of the drivable tracks and be judged by the forester as to whether there is sufficient wood to sell lots to private people who can saw/chop/collect themselves and costs 25 €uros/m³. Everything else will be given to a contractor to chop, presumably for wood chip heating systems. Not sure if this also ends up in wood pellets but doubt it as it contains so much green stuff.
