Saturday
We had a very leisurely day, today. We checked out of the hotel and went up to Euston but had three hours to kill before our train, so we enjoyed a late breakfast at the Exmouth Arms and then sat and read our books.
And whilst it's nice to have a lazy day, I always think it's more satisfying to know you've done something so when we arrived back in Chorley, we grabbed our bags and drove over to David Lloyd, where the Minx went to the gym while I had a swim and then we followed that with a meal at La Rocca, which is pretty much my favourite thing to do after swimming.
I can't remember why I went on ahead but as I was walking to the restaurant I came across this plucky fellow, poking its head through the concrete and waiting for a gust of wind.
